Allyson Felix

Allyson Nicole Felix was born on the 18th of November the 18th of November, 1985, located in Los Angeles. Paul Felix, her father was a pastor ordained at Master's Seminary Sun Valley. Marlean Felix worked at Balboa Magnet school for children in the elementary grades. Felix's ability to compete in athletics was evident right from the day she started attending Los Angeles Baptist High School. She came second at the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championships within just 10 weeks after her first attempt. Felix has graduated from high school in 2003, signed the sports contract with Adidas. After that, she was accepted into the University of Southern California and studied elementary education. Felix was awarded her first Olympic medal at the Athens Summer Olympics 2004. Felix broke a junior-world record of running the 200m in 22.18. In 2005, the Helsinki World Championships saw her become the shortest woman ever to win the 200 meter race. In 2007 she defended that title, beating her Jamaican rival Veronica Campbell. Felix took part at Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo and has consistently ranked in the top three of athletes in her respective events.
